I believe this recipe will going to be the easiest recipe we try and of course always approved by all families, especially my son. So, for the record, my son is a picky eatery, more likely he eats processed food such as sausage, fried chicken, and some pasta too. Noodles always be my son’s friends. Yes, he loves pasta as much as loves fried chicken 😀
So, when I made this spaghetti and meatballs it works like magic. It always won his hearts even ask for more!
Spaghetti and meatballs are always great choices for everyone, young or old, everyone like them. Pls, tell me I’m not the only one who is obsessed with spaghetti haha. You can always make for small portions or bigger ones. So far, I haven’t found the minus of making some spaghetti except do not make them every day, then, since we know, everything that is too much always hurt much too ( in this case, for a healthy reason).
Besides, making this spaghetti and meatballs is quick and effective for busy nights and companions for a weekend Netflix time with family, and even nice for a romantic dinner with your partner also.
Let’s jump to the recipe, let’s make this Italian-American adapted recipe, a super easy and yummy spaghetti and meatballs at home!
The Ingredients of Spaghetti and meatballs
Meatballs
- Ground Beef, if you consume pork, you can use that to.
- 2 slice White Bread
- ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese grated
- ⅓ cup Cold Water
- 1 Egg
- 4 clove Garlic chopped
- Fresh Basil chopped. So, I prefer to use this to add some nice smells, but back to your preference.
- Salt and Black Pepper for seasoning
Marinara Sauce
- Tomatoes crushed and Tomato Paste
- Fresh Basil chopped
- Garlic
- Salt and Black Pepper
- Water
If you are in a hurry, do not worry, feel free to use your favorite instant marinara sauce
Pasta
- Spaghetti
- Water and Salt
How to Make Spaghetti and Meatballs
Meatballs
I made a from the complex things to do to the easiest steps, let’s make a meatball first.
first, In a bowl soak the white bread in cold water for 5 minutes. next, set aside.
Then, combine ground beef with parmesan cheese, chopped basil, garlic, salt, black pepper, and egg. And then, mix with a fork or your hand until evenly distributed.
In the next step, crush the white bread then add it to the meatballs mixture and mix again. Then, shape about 2 tbsp meatball batter into a ball. and, do the same with the rest of the meatball batter.
Then, After the meatballs are ready, prepare the frying pan. In a pan, heat the cooking oil over medium heat.
Lastly, fry the meatballs until both sides of the meatballs are nice and golden. Next, when the meatballs are cooked, transfer them to a bowl. Set aside and let it cool for a while.
Marinara Sauce
First thing first, Using a pan that was used to fry meatballs, we use the oil from the meatballs. Then, sauté garlic for 1 minute then add all the marinara sauce ingredients.
Next, crush the tomatoes with your spatula while the sauce is cooked. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add fried meatballs and stir into the Mariana sauce until the meatballs are coated. Then, for the last step simmer again for 1 minute then turn off the heat. Set aside
Spaghetti
The last step is to make the pasta.
first, boil water and salt in a large pot. Second, the water is boiling, add spaghetti pasta until al dente ( I cooked in 3 minutes duration). and drain well.
Finally, Garnish with fresh basil before serving. Enjoy! you can add some cheese topping to!
