Come and let’s make the best-deviled egg in town! Devilishly delicious and endlessly customizable! This is one of the best ways to use leftover hard-boiled eggs. A classic recipe makes the perfect little bite to add to any meal, party spread, family gathering, picnic, or buffet. The word “deviled” actually goes all the way back to the 18th century, when it was used to describe dishes that were super spicy or well-seasoned. Deviled eggs are basically hard-boiled eggs that are peeled, cut in half, and filled with a mix of mashed yolks, mayo, mustard, and seasonings (usually paprika).
1. Halve boiled eggs lengthwise and remove the yolks. Mash the egg yolks and add in mayonnaise, dijon mustard, salt, black pepper, and tabasco, stir until well combined. 2. Transfer the yolk mixture to a piping bag, then fill the egg whites. Garnish with paprika, chives and bacon. Serve and enjoy!
