There are many versions or flavors of banana spring rolls. There are original spring rolls, chocolate, and cinnamon flavor. One that I will make is a chocolate version because I really love chocolate. In Indonesia, the chocolate banana spring rolls is called piscok. It stands for pisang coklat. Pisang is banana and coklat is chocolate.
Ingredients – 5 pieces Bananas – 1 cup Chocolate sprinkles – 20 sheets Spring rolls – Water – Cooking oil for frying
1. Cut a banana into 2 parts, then cut again each part into 2 parts lengthwise. 2. Put the banana into spring roll at the end then sprinkle 1 tsp chocolate sprinkle at the top of the banana.
3. Fold both ends of the side inward then roll the wrapper over the banana and continue until everything rolled up and tucked inside. 4. Apply water to seal the spring rolls. 5. Heat cooking oil over medium heat. 6. Fry the chocolate banana spring rolls until nice and golden. 7. After the chocolate banana spring rolls is cooked, rest it on a cooling rack to remove excess oil.
