If you go for pasta, this creamy and spicy beef fusilli is the best choice. It is a mix of fusilli, ground beef, and smoked beef with creamy and spicy sauce. Get em, pasta la vista!
– 300 g Fusilli Pasta – 135 g Smoked Beef – 100 g Ground Beef – 1/2 Onion chopped – 4 cloves Garlic finely chopped – 4 tbsp Parmesan – 50 g Cheddar – 50 g Mozzarella
40 g Butter – 1 tbsp Flour – 500 ml Milk – 1 tsp Chicken seasoning – 1,5 tsp Chili powder – 1 tsp Dried parsley – 1/2 tsp White pepper – Salt – Olive oil
1. Cook fusilli pasta with salt and olive oil according to direction but 2 minutes less than recommended. Don’t forget to reserve about 250ml pasta water for later use. Set aside. 2. Melt butter on a pan with medium heat. 3. Add onion & sauteed until translucent about 3 minutes. 4. Add garlic, ground beef & smoked beef. Sauteed for 3 minutes. Set aside about 2 tbsp to a bowl for garnish. 5. Add flour. Stir frequently for 2 minutes. 6. Add 1/4 part of milk, stir until combined. Add the rest bit by bit so there will be no clump. Add 3 tbsp parmesan and cheddar and stir until all cheese melted. 7. Add chili powder, white pepper, chicken seasoning & parsley. Add pasta water. Adjust pasta water according to your need. Add more if too dry.
8. Adjust salt to your taste. 9. Add cooked fusilli. 10. Turn off the heat. Place pasta to a large dish. 11. Sprinkle with mozzarella, reserved sautéed beef, 1 tbsp parmesan, & parsley. 12. Grill with blowtorch on the top until mozzarella melt and a little bit burn. 13. Your pasta is ready. Serve per portion on a plate.
