Tobiko salmon mayo sandwich is a hot dog bun that sliced in the middle with tobiko and grilled salmon as filling. Surprisingly, you can find Japanese taste from tobiko and salmon in a sandwich. It is the best collaboration between western sandwich recipes with popular ingredients in Japan.
– 2 Hot dog buns – 200 g Salmon thinly sliced – 2 tbsp Tobiko – 1 tbsp Butter – 3 tbsp Mayonaisse – 1 tbsp Sriracha sauce – 1 cup Lettuce chopped – 1 tbsp Chive chopped – Salt to your taste
1. Cut the hot dog bun using a bread knife with a serrated edge in the middle of the bun. Spread butter inside the bun. 2. Toast the buttered side buns on a pan for few minutes until golden brown and crispy. Set aside.
3. Sprinkle the sliced salmon with salt, then broil with a torch until the surface of the salmon caramelized. 4. Mix mayonnaise and sriracha. Place it in a piping bag. 5. Placed lettuce, and grill salmon then topped it with mayonnaise and sriracha sauce in a zig-zag way. 6. Before serving, sprinkle with tobiko and chive. 7. Enjoy!
