Tuna Aglio e Olio is a variation of the classic Italian pasta dish. In Italian, “Aglio” means garlic, while “Olio” means oil. As the name suggests, this dish is renowned for its simplicity, requiring only a few basic ingredients such as pasta, garlic, and olive oil. However, adding tuna makes this dish richer and more nutritious without losing Aglio e Olio’s basic essence.
1. Bring a pot of water to a boil, adding a little oil and salt. Cook the pasta until al dente. 2. In another pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Saute the garlic until fragrant. 3. Add tuna and chili flakes. Stir until well combined.
4. Add pasta, mushroom powder, Italian herbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and some pasta water to the pan. Gently combine the ingredients together and simmer for about 1 minute. 5. Serve the pasta topped with grated Parmesan cheese and parsley leaves.
