Easy and quick spicy peanut sauce as dips or dressing for perfect dishes. It's creamy, savory, and a little spicy. Delish peanut sauce of Asian flavor. Finger-licking good!

Spicy Peanut Sauce

  • ½ pound Peanuts
  • 6 Bird's Eye Chilis
  • 6 small Shallots
  • 4 clove Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Palm Sugar Block
  • ¼ tsp Mushroom Stock Powder optional
  • ½ tsp Sea Salt
  • tsp White Pepper Powder
  • Vegetable Oil for frying
  • Hot Water


  1. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry peanuts until slightly dark brown.

  2. Grind all the ingredients except water with a food processor until smooth.

  3. In a pan add ½ cup of peanut sauce mixture and water (the amount depends on your desired consistency).

  4. Boil peanut butter sauce on low heat for 5 minutes.

  5. Set aside and put it on a small bowl.

  6. Serve with the main dish.

Recipe Notes

If the sauce is too thick for you, you can add warm water and stir until combined. You can store it in a fridge for up to a week. Warm the sauce before serving.

And also if you want the sauce to be extra smooth, you can smooth it out with a blender after adding warm water.
