Chicken Bacon Ranch Casserole

  • ½ lb Penne or Fusilli Pasta
  • ½ lb Chicken Breast bite sized
  • 6 slice Beef Bacon
  • ½ cup Ranch Dressing
  • ½ tbsp Butter
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese
  • ¼ cup Cheddar Cheese
  • ¾ cup Mozzarella Cheese
  • Sea Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Parsley


  1. Cook fusilli pasta with salt according to direction but 2 minutes less than recommended. Set aside.

  2. Heat oil in a pan over high heat then cook chicken breast until golden brown, then transfer it into a bowl. Set aside.

  3. Arrange bacon strips on the pan and cook it over medium heat until the bacon shrink and turns golden brown. Cut the bacon into small pieces, set it aside.

  4. Sauté garlic until fragrant, then add heavy cream and parmesan cheese. Stir until combined.

  5. Add cooked chicken breast, ranch dressing, and fusilli pasta then stir until mix well.

  6. Preheat oven to 375°F or 190°C.

  7. Transfer the chicken bacon ranch pasta to a 7.5×9.5×2-inch glass rectangular dinnerware. Sprinkle it with bacon then cheddar cheese and then mozzarella cheese.

  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Before serving, garnish the chicken bacon ranch casserole with parsley. Enjoy!

Recipe Notes

  • Feel free to add your favorite vegetables to the dish. I think broccoli and mushroom would be perfect!
  • You can give seasoning to the chicken before it is fried, you can add some chili or cajun powder to add spiciness, and it is alright to add some color seasoning to the chicken
  • I substitute the bacon with beef bacon here. The bacon position is based on your desire. I recommend you to put the bacon in the last layering it will make the bacon crispy and a little burnt. On contrary, to make the texture creamy, you can put the bacon before the cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  • To save time in the future, It is better to cook the ingredient which is chicken, pasta and the bacon before serving the chicken bacon ranch casserole.
  • Chicken breast is perfect to use here. for the alternative, you can use shredded chicken, boneless chicken, or leftover rotisserie chicken.
