Fish Finger with Tartar Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Fish Fillet
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • cup Breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Paprika Powder
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder
  • ½ tsp Onion Powder
  • ½ tsp Mushroom Powder
  • 1 tbsp Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper

Tartar Sauce

  • ¼ cup Mayonnaise
  • ½ tbsp Lemon Juice
  • Onion
  • ¼ tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbsp Capers minced
  • ½ tsp Parsley
  • ½ Boiled White Egg
  • ½ tsp Honey
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut fish fillet lengthwise and marinate the fish with lemon juice, a pinch of salt, and black pepper. Let it sit for 30 minutes.

  2. In another bowl, mix all-purpose flour, salt, black pepper, paprika powder, garlic powder, onion powder, mushroom powder, and parmesan cheese. Stir until well combined.

  3. Coat the fish with flour mixture until all surfaces are covered then dip it into beaten eggs. After that, roll it in bread crumbs until the entire surface is coated. Repeat the process with the rest of the fish.

  4. In a pan heat oil over medium heat and fry the fish finger until nice and golden. After the fish finger are cooked, rest it on a cooling rack to remove excess oil.

Tartar Sauce

  1. Prepare mayonnaise in a small bowl, then add diced egg whites, minced capers, onion, garlic powder, parsley, salt, black pepper, and honey. Mix well.

  2. Finally, add lemon juice and mix until well blended. Transfer it to a sauce bowl.

  3. Fish finger with tartar sauce is ready to serve. Enjoy!
