Are you fan of seafood? If you love seafood, then you must try this grilled squid hotdog skewer recipe! Besides the good taste, grilled squid hotdog skewer also has a unique shape.


This street food originally came from Thailand and influenced Indonesian to sell it on food festival. And also because I have hotdog and squid stock on my freezer, I decide to make it and share the recipe to you.
If you want to taste this snacks you can make it at home because it is simple to make. You can follow the steps I give below.
Remove the skin of the squid. For squid seasoning I only use salt and black pepper. For the sauce, I use barbeque sauce, sweet soy sauce, oyster sauce, worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce, and chili sauce.
Cut the squid and hotdog in the same length, about 3/4 – 1 inch (2cm).
Season the squid with salt and black pepper. Then marinate for at least 15 minutes. Meanwhile add all the sauces into another bowl and stir until combined.
Add the hot dog pieces into the squid chunks. Follow according to the picture above.
Stick the squid and hotdog chunks into a skewer, 3 chunks and 1 squid head into each skewer.

Grill on low heat while brushing the skewer with sauce until all the squid has cooked.

Grilled Squid Hotdog Skewer
Ingredients
- 1 kg Medium Squid skin removed
- 3 Hotdog
- 2 tbsp Barbeque Sauce
- 2 tbsp Ketchup
- 2 tbsp Chili Sauce
- 1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/2 tsp Salt or adjust to your taste
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
