Shepherd's Pie

Ingredients

  • ½ lb Ground Beef
  • 3 large Potato
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • ½ tbsp Italian Herbs
  • ½ cup Milk
  • 1 tbsp Cooking Oil
  • ½ Onion
  • 1 cup Vegetable Mix
  • ½ Green Bell Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Parsley
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp Dark Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Beef Stock Powder
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Parmesan Cheese

Instructions

  1. Peeled potatoes and cut into large size then place it with water into a large pot. Add a pinch of salt and boil the potatoes over medium-high heat for 20-25 minutes or until fork tender. When the potatoes are cooked, drain, wait until cold and transfer it to a blender.

  2. Blender the potatoes until smooth. Place the potato to a mixing bowl, then add butter, milk, parmesan cheese, italian herbs, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined then set aside.

  3. Saute garlic, onion, and sliced green bell pepper until translucent and fragrant. Add ground beef, vegetable mix, italian herbs, parsley, worcestershire sauce, dark soy sauce, beef stock powder, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and cook until the beef is cooked through. Turn off the heat and set aside.

  4. Preheat oven to 180℉

  5. Grease the casserole with cooking oil, pour in and spread evenly the beef mixture. Spread the mashed potatoes over the beef, covering it completely. Bake for 30 minutes or until cooked through. Serve while the shepherds pie is warm.
