Belgian Waffle

Ingredients

  • 2 cup Flour
  • 4 tbsp Sugar
  • ½ tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • 2 Eggs (separate the egg yolk and white)
  • 1 cup Milk
  • ½ cup Whipping cream
  • 5 tbsp Melted Butter (50 gr)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare a medium-sized bowl, mix the dry ingredients - flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt - then stir until well combined.

  2. Add the egg yolks, milk, whipping cream, melted butter, and vanilla extract, then mix again until there are no lumps.

  3. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites using a mixer until they form stiff peaks.

  4. Gradually fold a small amount of the batter into the egg whites, then stir until evenly mixed.

  5. Pour the egg white mixture into the batter and fold until thoroughly combined.

  6. Pour 3/4 cup of the batter into a waffle pan and cook until both sides turn golden brown.

  7. Repeat the process until all the batter is used.

  8. Serve with ice cream and fresh fruit slices!
