Ingredients of Homemade Peach Iced Tea
- Canned Peach; You can find these in the grocery store, or slice and use fresh peaches at home. You can also use organic canned sliced peaches as well. I recommend using fresh, ripe, sweet peaches. However, since in my country, peaches are not common, So I use canned ones and it’s totally fine too. These will be used for both flavoring the tea and as a garnish.
- Black Tea; I like to use organic black tea bags, however, you can always keep things traditional with Lipton or use Peach Black tea bags. use the tea of your choice – loose leaf or tea bags of black tea or green tea.
- Simple Syrup; We use granulated sugar to sweeten the peach syrup for our iced black tea but any other sweetener would work. Use the sugar of your choice: cane sugar, coconut sugar, maple, honey
- Water; for brewing the tea and diluting the flavors.
- Fresh Mint for garnish; Fresh mint is a wonderful addition to your peach iced tea. Its bright, refreshing flavor complements the sweetness of the peaches and the tea perfectly. Fresh mint also a great option for garnish as it provides a beautiful visual appeal and a burst of fresh flavor with every sip
