Magic galaxy squash is frozen butterfly pea flower tea and rosella tea mixed with lime lemon soda. Perfect for hot summer!

Magic galaxy squash is inspired by a restaurant in my city. The colors of galaxy are dark blue, purple, and pink. I use butterfly pea flowers for the dark blue color, rosella tea for pink (although it’s actually red), and for the purple colour I mixed butterfly pea flowers with lemon juice.
What make this drink magic because of the characteristic of the butterfly pea flowers. The original color is blue. But when we add something acidic to it, the color turn purple.
For the red color I use rosella tea. Beside give the drink a red color, it’s also give a unique taste from rosella flower tea. It’s a little bit sour.
For the soda I choose Sprite because it has clear color so it won’t ruin the galaxy color. Also the taste is a combination of lemon and lime so we actually got the overall taste from Sprite and squeezed lemon.
Magic galaxy squash is just perfect for this summer season. Enjoy your summer!
