Beef green bean stir fry is inspired recipe from my mom. Quick easy and simple recipe from ground beef and green bean. The ingredients are easy to find. Only cook for 15 minutes then you can serve for your family.
If you don’t want to cooking for a long time in the kitchen, I recommend you to try this recipe. Healthy, quick, easy, and of course delicious.
You only need ground beef and green bean for main ingredients. And aside from salt and pepper for the seasoning you need oyster sauce, kecap manis and chicken stock powder. That’s all.
My mom quite often cooking this at home. This recipe is one of our family favorites.
How to make beef green bean stir fry:
Cut green beans 1 inch / 2.5cm length.
In a pan heat 1 tbsp cooking oil at high heat. Add ground beef and cooking for 3 minutes. Add a pinch of salt and black pepper. Stir until all caramelized and there are brown bits on the ground beef. Set aside.
What make this dish delicious is we use high heat when cooking the ground beef and green bean. Why do we do that? Because we want to achieve Maillard reaction.
The Maillard reaction is a chemical reaction between amino acids and reducing sugars that gives browned food its distinctive flavour. Maillard reaction gives more umami taste to foods. Hence more delicious!
In the same pan add 1 tbsp cooking oil at high heat. Add shallot and garlic and sauté for 1 minute then add green beans. Continue cook in high heat for about 3 minutes.
Add water, oyster sauce, chicken stock powder, kecap manis, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
Add bird’s eye chili and cooked ground beef and stir for about 1 minute.
This delicious side dish is ready to serve.

Hello, your recipe says kecap manis but your picture shows Worcestershire sauce. May I know which might be the right sauce to use for this dish please? Thank you. 🙂
