- 1 tbsp Lime juice
- ¼ tsp Salt
- ¼ tsp Pepper
- 4 clove Garlic, grated
- 1 tsp Ginger, grated
- spring Onion, long-cut pieces
Sweet spicy sauce
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 4 tbsp Honey
- 1 tbsp Gochugaru
- 1 tbsp Sriracha
- ¼ tsp Pepper
- Bamboo skewers, soak in water for at least 30 minutes
How to Make Dakkochi with Sweet Spicy Sauce
First, marinate the chicken with lime juice, salt, pepper, grated ginger, and grated garlic. let it sit for 15-20 minutes.
For making sauce: mix all ingredients and stir until all combined.
Next, place a piece of spring onion onto a skewer, followed by two pieces of chicken thigh, and repeat until you have 3 pieces on each skewer.
After that, heat a skillet over medium heat, then place the chicken skewers on it. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes on the first side. Flip it over then start brushing sauce on chicken. Repeat these steps until the chicken is fully cooked and the color and taste as much as you wish.
