Can’t believe it’s the end of November already and December is coming. I heard it’s been snowing and the weather is very cold in northern hemisphere.

So I make something drink recipe that will warm your body in this cold weather. Honey lemongrass ginger tea are perfect for winter drinks.

When you drink this tea you will feel good on your throat. Many people have cold on winter so I recommend you to make this tea at home.

We in Indonesia have rainy days on October until February and this kind of weather make many people sick, too.

These tea not only making you feel good and warm but also have several benefits for body. Honey, lemongrass and ginger are herbs you can use for medicinal purposes.

Honey Lemongrass Ginger Tea

Honey lemongrass ginger tea are perfect for winter, cold weather or rainy seasons! Not only taste really good, but also many health benefits for you.

Ingredients

  • 10 cm Ginger thinly sliced
  • 3 stalks Lemongrass bruised
  • 1/2 Lemon Juice
  • Honey to your taste
  • 1 l Water
  • Lemon thinly sliced for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a sauce pan, boil water, ginger and lemongrass for 10 minutes. Turn off the heat then add juice from 1/2 lemon. Stir to combine.

  2. Serve in a cup while hot. Add about 1 tbsp honey per cup. You can reduce or add the amount of honey to your taste.

  3. Garnish with lemongrass stalk, thinly sliced ginger and thinly sliced lemon.

Recipe Notes

If you want to serve it cold, save in a fridge. Serve with ice cubes.

    My daughter just loves tea and we have tried so many kinds but I don’t think we have ever had lemongrass! Sounds amazing with honey and fresh ginger (and so good for you too!).

    I was in Bali and the chef there suggested I try it as I was drinking lemon tea only. I now make it at home in Australia. And drink regularly
