You can enjoy your veggie with a strip of savory bacon. In fact, children will love this dish, the same as my nephew! Just don’t forget to tell them to eat them all! Haha.

It’s quite easy. The hardest part is wrapping the asparagus tightly with beef bacon. Make sure the beef bacon is dry. You can dry the beef bacon with a kitchen paper towel.

Pop in the oven and voila! Then your appetizer is ready.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Asparagus : Of course the star of this dish. Asparagus is high in vitamin K and folate (vitamin B9), asparagus is extremely well balanced, even among nutrient-rich vegetables.
  • Beef Bacon : Perfect ingredient for picky eater!
  • Parmesan Cheese : The taste and aroma are very well match with the smokiness of beef bacon.
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Vegetable Oil

HOW TO MAKE BEEF BACON ASPARAGUS

Simple and tasty, baked beef bacon asparagus are a perfect side dish for your dinner as well as an appetizer for a party. The smokiness from the beef bacon gives an extra kick to your palate. Will be a children's fav, too!

First, preheat the oven to 400°F. Rinse and trim the ends of the asparagus then transfer the trimmed asparagus to a baking pan or a wire rack.

Then, drizzle them with vegetable oil and season them with sea salt, white pepper, and parmesan cheese to your taste. Don’t be too much because the beef bacon is quite salty too.

Cut beef bacon into two parts lengthwise then wrap the asparagus stalk tightly with beef bacon. And then place wrapped beef bacon asparagus into a baking pan.

Last, bake the them in a 400°F oven for 20 minutes until the beef bacon is almost crispy, and your beef bacon asparagus is ready to serve.

Beef Bacon Asparagus

Ingredients

  • 12 stalk Asparagus
  • 6 strip Beef Bacon
  • 1/2 tbsp Parmesan Cheese
  • A Pinch of Sea Salt
  • 1/4 tsp White Pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp Vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven 400°F or 200°C.

  2. Trims the ends of asparagus. Place the asparagus into a baking pan then drizzle with vegetable oil and sprinkle it with sea salt, white pepper, and parmesan cheese.

  3. Cut beef bacon into two parts lengthwise then wrap asparagus stalk tightly with beef bacon. Place beef bacon asparagus into a baking pan and bake for 20 minutes until the beef bacon is almost crispy.

  4. Beef bacon asparagus are ready to serve. Enjoy!

Recipe Notes

  1. If you prefer crisp bacon, when baking use a wire rack instead of a baking pan. Flip the beef bacon asparagus halfway through baking.
