Holla! Who are in the mood for pasta? Of course, I’m in. If you go for pasta, this creamy and spicy beef fusilli is the best choice. It is a mix of fusilli, ground beef, and smoked beef with creamy and spicy sauce. Get em, pasta la vista!
Choose your pasta! I’m into fusilli!
Pasta has many types and variations of shapes and different names. Spaghetti, ravioli, and fusilli are types of pasta that are often processed and consumed. Based on data released from the International Pasta Organization, there are around 600 types of pasta scattered in various parts of the world.
The many varieties of pasta in the world make this Italian food famous in various countries. In fact, you can even celebrate pasta day every October 25th. It is easy for people to like pasta because of its delicious taste and delicious appearance.
Yesterday, I saw a pasta ad on television. The advert shows creamy fusilli with melted cheese and carbonara sauce. It’s so tantalizing. My sisters and I wanted to buy it at that time. Indeed, pasta is not difficult to find. But, I think it’s better to make it at home so that I can share this delicious food with other family members.
I tried making the fusilli with cheddar cheese, parmesan, and other ingredients. It turned out delicious. Since it tasted so delicious, I told my sisters to share it on our blog. Why should I keep this delicious fusilli pasta?
This recipe is a little bit similar to mac and cheese. Yet, I don’t use macaroni here because I prefer fusilli to macaroni in a pasta. Fusilli has a more hard texture than macaroni. I like the shape of fusilli also. Hey, don’t be serious. It’s just my preference.
Surprisingly loved by cheese hater!
Pasta in carbonara sauce usually has a lot of cheese to make it creamy. It is so strange if carbonara pasta doesn’t use cheese and milk. Almost people know it has a creamy sauce. Yet, in this recipe, I don’t use a lot of cheese. I don’t want to spoil the spice taste of the food with cheese.
Because my sisters and I are spicy lovers, I don’t forget to add spicy ingredients for a kick. Yup, almost all of the savory dish recipe contains of spicy taste. It’s alright if you want to give chili powder for a hint only.
I tried this recipe before I share the recipe with you. When I made it, my sisters and my cousin came over to our house. My cousin doesn’t like cheese at all. Every time I gave something that has cheese on it, he won’t eat that food. But what makes me quite surprise is he likes this pasta so much. Even he ate the most between us.
I don’t use a lot of cheese in this recipe. So, I call it creamy than cheesy. If you don’t really like cheese, this pasta will be suitable for you. But if you are a cheese lover, you can add extra cheese to your taste.
By the way, this pasta is inspired by a menu in a pizza restaurant in Indonesia. I forgot the name of the menu, but it used beef, cheese, and fusilli pasta. After I tried to make this menu by myself, I like the great combination that I used in the recipe. It is more delicious than the menu of the restaurant. I’m so proud to find it! Haha.
