Ingredients of Korean Beef BBQ Spring Roll
- Beef Sliced; classic bulgogi uses thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin, so here’s the tips. Use a good quality of slice beef. You know the sensation when the spring roll combine come to your mouth and melting,
- Rice Paper; Translucent, thin sheets made from rice flour. They are used to wrap the ingredients and create the spring rolls.
- Lettuce chopped/sliced; Fresh lettuce, either chopped or sliced, adds a crisp and refreshing element to the spring rolls.
- Onion sliced; this is a must item for my bbq spring roll, add some flavor, texture and aroma, We use half of a large onion, and at first, it may see like the onion is going to overpower the meat, but rest assured, it cooks down significantly.
- Gochugaru; Korean red pepper flakes. They add a mild heat and smoky flavor to the marinade. this would add a little kick but won’t make the spring rolls spicy so don’t forget to add this Dark Soy sauce; A rich and darker variety of soy sauce, adding color and depth of flavor to the marinade, add depth brown color. Go for regular dark soy if you want a lighter taste
- Brown sugar; this is make caramelized beef, Adds sweetness to balance the savory and spicy flavors in the marinade.
- Rice vinegar; Adds a tangy element to the marinade, contributing to the overall balance of flavors.
- Cornstarch; Used as a thickening agent in the marinade, creating a coating for the beef.
- Beef Powder; Enhances the beefy flavor in the marinade, providing an extra layer of savory depth.
- Salt and Black pepper; Black pepper adds a different, almost woodsy kind of spice that’s different than the chili paste and I love the combination of the two.
- Cooking oil; use for cook beef mixture, feel free to use canola oil,
