- Cookies and Cream; I use the OG Oreo cookies and cream, other cookies and cream are great. The crushed cookies serve as a topping or garnish for the Dalgona coffee. They add texture, flavor, and a visual appeal to the drink, making it more enjoyable and aesthetically pleasing.
- Milk; Here I use UHT Milk, milk provides a creamy and smooth texture to the drink, it also cools down the drink and creates a pleasant contrast of the coffee layer. You can use different types of milk, including dairy milk, almond milk, oat milk, or soy milk, based on your preferences and taste.
- Espresso Powder; I use instant coffee, Nescafe black, you can find it everywhere or anything you have in the kitchen, Espresso powder is the primary source of coffee flavor in Dalgona coffee. It adds depth, bitterness, and aroma to the drink. Main ingredients for a Dalgona coffee
- Brown Sugar; Brown sugar acts as a sweetener and flavor enhancer in Dalgona coffee. Its rich, caramel-like taste complements the coffee and cookies, adding a touch of complexity to the overall flavor profile
- Hot Water; Hot water is used to dissolve the espresso powder and brown sugar, creating a concentrated coffee mixture that forms the base of the Dalgona coffee.
Let’s Make Cookies and Cream Dalgona Coffee
First thing first, we make a mixture separately, for milk cookies and cream mixture, and coffee mixture.
Start with creating the milk mixture for your Cookies and Cream Dalgona Coffee, begin by placing your cookies of choice into a glass and crushing them. Use a spoon or the back of a spoon to crush the cookies into small pieces, forming a cookie crumb base.
Next, pour milk into the glass with the cookie crumbs and stir vigorously until the milk and cookies are thoroughly combined, creating a delicious cookies and cream base for your coffee. This step ensures that the milk absorbs the flavors of the cookies, resulting in a creamy and indulgent mixture.
Moving on to the coffee mixture, take a separate glass and dissolve the espresso powder in hot water, stirring until the mixture is completely blended. Then, Adjust the amount of espresso powder to your desired strength. I recommend using a mixer, but you can also mix together by hand

Next, pour the milk mixture into the glass, leaving some space at the top. Then, pour the prepared coffee mixture gently over the milk. You can use a spoon to create layers or simply pour it on top for a marbled effect.

Cookie and Cream Dalgona Coffee
- 3 pieces Cookie and Cream
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 tbsp Espresso Powder
- 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 2 tbsp Hot Water
Put cookies into a glass and crush them. Pour milk into the glass and stir until well combined.
