Ingredients of Creamy Spinach Chicken Thigh
Ingredient for chicken marinated
- Chicken Thigh – The main protein source in the dish, providing flavor and texture. I use skinless and boneless chicken thighs. It is just preference. My family likes to eat easily. Also, they don’t like the mushy chicken skin. Moreover, if the bone and skin are left, you may adjust the cooking time to make the chicken absorb the spices and seasonings.
- Paprika Powder; Adds a smoky and slightly spicy flavor to the chicken.
- Garlic Powder; will enhance the overall flavor profile with its aromatic and savory notes.
- Lemon Juice Adds a tangy and refreshing element to the chicken, balancing the richness of the creamy sauce
- Vegetable Oil for cooking chicken
- Salt and Pepper as a basic seasoning
- Spinach; Provides a vibrant green color, as well as adds nutrients and a slightly earthy taste to the dish.
- Butter used to thicken the sauce and to give a savory taste and also to sautee garlic
- Garlic and Onion for adding aroma, – I use chopped fresh garlic. You can use garlic powder or add garlic powder to boost the flavor.
- Chicken Broth; Provides a savory base for the creamy sauce and adds depth of flavor to the dish.
- Cooking Cream is the main ingredient to give a creamy and thick texture. You can use whipping cream if you have whipping cream instead. Yet, I don’t recommend using half and half both cooking and whipping cream in this recipe. The fat in the sauce will break and spill because of the different fat consistency. Creates a creamy and luscious texture for the sauce, adding richness and flavor.
- Parmesan Cheese Optional ingredient for sprinkling over the dish, adding a nutty and savory taste. I use this cheese to give more cheese flavor.
- Parsley: Use for garnish, adding freshness and a pop of color to the final presentation of the dish.
